Tancredo blasts Senate 'amnesty'
Says Frist allowed Democrats to outmaneuver him on illegals

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., a leading critic in Congress of open borders, blasted the decision today by Republicans and Democrats in the Senate to compromise on immigration reform and offer the possibility of citizenship to an estimated 10 million people who entered the country illegally through 2004.

"The Democrats have once again used parliamentary tactics to obstruct the Senate from pursuing its priorities," Tancredo said in a statement. "The only difference this time is that Senator Frist let them. By surrendering to the amnesty demands of Democrats and squishy Republicans, Frist squandered a great opportunity to secure our borders and gain control of our broken immigration system."

New Jersey Court Rules Jury Must Decide If Abortion Terminates a Life

TRENTON, N.J., April 7, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a stunning reversal for abortion providers, a New Jersey Appellate Court has issued a unanimous opinion that the factual contention that a first trimester abortion terminates the life of a human being is a question to be decided by a jury. In the sixteen page opinion in Rosa Acuna v. Dr. Sheldon Turkish (Appellate Docket # A-4022-03T5), the the Court remanded the case for trial, ruling that whether a first trimester abortion terminates the life of a complete, unique human being presents a fact question for a jury to decide.

Mrs. Acuna contends that she submitted to an abortion after her regular gynecologist -- who she saw for abdominal pain -- recommended that she have an abortion. When Mrs. Acuna asked Dr. Turkish whether her baby was already there, he told her "Don't be stupid, it is just some blood," according to Mrs. Acuna. Mrs. Acuna wanted to know if there was a human being already in existence. Even Dr. Turkish has acknowledged that he would have told her that there was just some "tissue" that was being removed.

Mrs. Acuna has stated that she relied upon representations of Dr. Turkish, and submitted to the abortion procedure. Three weeks later she was rushed to a local hospital because of heavy hemorrhaging and was told by a nurse that the doctor had "left part of your baby in you."

Mrs. Acuna's attorney, New Jersey attorney Harold J. Cassidy, is also the chief counsel for four parties in litigation involving the same factual contentions, currently pending in the Federal District Court in South Dakota and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in St. Louis. In that case, Planned Parenthood sued South Dakota Governor Michael Rounds and Attorney General Larry Long claiming that a South Dakota law enacted in 2005 - - which requires abortion doctors to disclose to a pregnant mother the fact that the abortion will terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being -- violates the free speech rights of the abortion doctors.

The Acuna case, which is a jury trial, and the South Dakota Planned Parenthood v. Rounds case (Fed. District Ct. Case No. 05-4077; U.S. Court of Appeals Case No. 05-3093) are the only two cases of their nature in the United States. For the fist time in abortion jurisprudence, both cases will decide whether a first trimester abortion terminates the life of a living human being, and implicates questions surrounding the beginning of biological life.

"Mrs. Acuna is grateful that the Appellate Court has again ruled in her favor so that she will be permitted to try her case in a court of law," Mr. Cassidy stated.

"Planned Parenthood in the South Dakota case had pointed to the second lower court decision in the Acuna case before the U.S. Court of Appeals. Its reliance upon the lower court decision that conflicted with the prior Appellate decision was misplaced, and today's opinion will be brought to the attention of that court before the oral argument on April 20th."

What do you have to say about potential critics to the Day of Silence®?

The sodomite propaganda event, Day of Silence, is fast approaching (April 26). As usual I, along with my trusty sidekick Mike Foht and several other individuals, will be busy all day visiting schools which GLSEN claims as Day of Silence sponsors. We will give out PCC literature, hold signs, and do one-on-one witnessing.

As in the past, PCC is also making our literature available to Christians in Wisconsin who want to be a witness at an area school. The literature is available at our cost for Christians in other states. In the past, our Day of Silence efforts have had a profound impact at the schools we have visited. It is important that this propaganda campaign by the sodomites be answered with truth from Christians. If you want to get involved, let me know how much literature you will need. GLSEN now puts off listing participating schools until the last minute (I wonder why), but there is bound to be one close to you.

Also, if anyone wants to simply throw in their lot with my team, let me know, and I will get our schedule to you.

Agenda Trumping Party for Homosexual Political Groups

(CNSNews.com) - Both the Democratic and Republican Parties have groups aimed at involving homosexuals in the political process. However, the leaders of those organizations have demonstrated more loyalty to the so-called "gay agenda" -- which includes same-sex marriage -- than they have to either party.Representing the liberal side of the political aisle is the National Stonewall Democrats (NSD), which describes itself on its website as a "grassroots network connecting LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] Democratic activists" across the country.

Judge sets July 10 date for trial in homosexual activist lawsuit against Brian Camenker, Scott Whiteman, and Parents Rights Coalition for exposing "Fistgate" in April 2000.

The homosexual movement continues to use whatever methods it can to "punish" and destroy anyone who gets in its way, and to intimidate anyone else from exposing their activities with children.

On Monday, July 10, the trial is scheduled to begin against Brian Camenker, Scott Whiteman, and Parents Rights Coalition in the lawsuit being brought against them by Margot Abels, lesbian activist and former state employee who was fired for her involvement in a workshop where children were taught about hard-core homosexual sex.

Abels is claiming that her "free speech rights" were violated and says she is seeking "injunctive relief, compensatory damages including damages for emotional distress," as well as attorneys' fees.

The American Family Association Center for Law and Policy has taken the case free of charge. AFA attorneys Stephen Crampton and Michael DePrimo were in Boston this week for the hearing. In addition, Michael Williams of the Center for Constitutional Law is representing Scott Whiteman.

"This is an incredible miscarriage of justice, and the law they are using is clearly unconstitutional," said Crampton. "We will appeal this case until we obtain justice, up to and including the US Supreme Court."

At the hearing, Abels' lawyer reiterated that one of her objectives is to keep Camenker, Whiteman, and PRC from being able to disseminate information to anyone about this incident.

The judge also set June 6 for a final preliminary hearing, to discuss witnesses and other issues pertaining to the trial.

How much will you give me?

Judas Iscariot had one great opportunity. Remain faithful to Jesus, obey His teachings and go to heaven. Jesus prepared a place for Judas. It was the opportunity of an eternity.

What did Judas do?

Judas Iscariot was walking beside Jesus, but he was not walking with Him. Simon Peter in describing Jesus had said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” No such words ever poured forth from Judas Iscariot’s lips. He said words like, “How much will you give me if I give Jesus to you?”

Judas Iscariot had his own agenda. Yes, he walked with Jesus and the other disciples. Yes, he saw many great deeds. Yes, he heard great messages from the lips of the Son of God.

All of what he experienced while living from day to day in the Messiah’s presence meant little. Judas Iscariot had an agenda. It was his agenda. “What will you give me?” How many times have those words been uttered?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, offers Judas Iscariot eternal life. Judas wanted silver. Jesus offered forgiveness. The chief priests, not Jesus, had what Judas was looking for. He wanted money.

Judas reminds me of some of modern-day politicians. They seem to be Americans. They talk like Americans. They take their paychecks from the U.S. But they are not true, loyal Americans. They have an agenda. They sell out their constituency for the same reason Judas sold out Jesus. They have their own agenda, not that of the United States. They see America as one gigantic get rich scheme.

Timothy McVeigh was not the person people thought he was. For whatever reason, McVeigh forsook America. The very nation and government he vowed to protect as a soldier is the one he attacked. He had an agenda.

Judas Iscariot was so blinded by his desire for money that he missed the mark. Sin can be defined as missing the mark. Well, Judas missed it by a long shot. His reason for being on earth was all wrapped up in Jesus the Savior. We read about Judas and wonder, “How could anyone live in the presence of the Son of God and not take advantage of the opportunity?”

Peter took advantage of his time with Jesus. He lived his life for Jesus. He even gave up his life for the sake of the gospel. So did Paul. So did all of the apostles. They all surrendered their personal agendas to the agenda of Christ.

Some people go to church with an agenda. They do it for their business. They do it for community image. They even do it to be part of something. Unfortunately, many never recognize Jesus in their midst. They miss God’s will because they are fulfilling their own agendas. “This is what I want for me!” they declare.

Judas asked the chief priests, religious leaders with their own lifeless agenda, what they had to offer. If the price was right he would betray Jesus. For the right price he would take them to Jesus’ doorstep.

Many folk will leave this life confident that they have a home in heaven. They will be stunned when God does not recognize them as one of His sheep. He will play back the story of their lives for them to see whom they served.

They will see that they made Jesus a side issue, not the issue. They will see all of the times they put Jesus on the back burner, or acted like they did not know Him to keep the customers happy. As long as He fit into their agenda, what they wanted out of life, He was okay. But let Him become a hindrance and watch them scamper to distance themselves from Him.

The end of Judas Iscariot was tragic. It was sort of like the ending for Americans caught spying on their nation. Such folk earn a bad name, sport a horrible reputation and die dishonored. If they manage to fulfill their agenda they have nothing. Their agenda is not worth a bowl of dry beans.

Hostage in Illinois: Choosing leaders

Dear Fellow Hostages,

Praise the LORD! And thank you for the many comments/suggestions on this southern Illinois woman's Weblog. I especially want to thank Mr. Cal Skinner of McHenry County Blog for his information concerning Rev. Meeks views on government schools and tax dollars.

As a Christian woman, I will only lend my support to those candidates proving themselves to meet the Biblical qualifications for civil leadership.

Just because a man (or a woman) claims to be a follower of Christ does not make them so... If a human being has truly been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, you will see Godly fruit in their life. They will not be perfect, but they will be making steady (and yes, even sometimes slow) progress toward holiness.

When choosing leaders, please choose men who are mature Christians and who have proven to be sincere followers of Christ. To do otherwise will only keep us in bondage to wickedness.

Some advocate electing a lesser of two or even three evils... This is still electing evil. Why not put your faith in action and demand leaders who are Christian Statesmen? Do you think God is not powerful enough to raise such men up? If you settle for mere babes in Christ or unregenerate men and women to govern are you showing the world that you have faith in God to raise-up leaders worthy of the position and His name?
