Human Rights Advocate: Change From One- to Two-Child Policy Won’t End Forced Abortions in China

(CNSNews.com) – The Xinhua News Agency announced on Thursday that the Chinese Communist government is halting its one-child policy and replacing it with a policy that will allow couples to obtain permits to have two children. But human rights activist Reggie Littlejohn said the change would not stop forced abortions in the Communist country.

“This comes as no surprise, given the demographic disaster China now faces as a result of its One Child Policy,” Littlejohn said in a statement on Thursday.

“However, instituting a two-child policy will not end forced abortion, gendercide or family planning regulations in China,” said Littlejohn, founder and president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, an international coalition to expose and oppose forced abortion, gendercide and sexual slavery in China.
