Pro-life debate takes on a new dimension with frozen embryo case

Jasha McQueen had, with her husband, gone through the IVF process to create four embryos in order to have children. They signed a contract with 2 different cryobanks, outlining specific details in which custody of the embryos would fall in case of divorce or separation, and now she is fighting for the life of these two embryos in a Missouri Court of Appeals.

Two of the embryos were brought to term and Jasha gave birth to twin boys eight years ago. She filed for divorce prior to 2010 when she suffered abuse during the marriage and at that time her ex husband decided he no longer wanted to have children and to terminate the remaining two embryos. ...
